Open Access sessions are open to members and non-members alike. They are suitable for anyone who has been to one of our classes or has some experience of ceramics and is ready to work on their own pottery projects.

Our studio is well equipped for both wheel throwing and hand-building. You will have access to all studio tools and materials including clay and a selection of slips, underglazes and glazes. You may use as much studio clay to practice as you like and you will only pay for pieces you want to keep and that go on to be fired in the kiln. This is charged at £1.10 per 100g of the final fired weight for our members and for non-members it is included in the price of a return glazing session booking (£12.50).
Sessions are untaught but supervised by experienced staff who will be on hand to answer any questions and offer support. You can book a one-off session or check out the benefits of becoming a member.
We have 3 professional freestanding wheels, 1 tabletop wheel and space for 4 people to be hand-building or glazing. When you book you can choose whether to reserve a wheel or table.
