Our studio is well equipped for both wheel throwing and hand-building. You will have access to all studio tools and materials including clay and a selection of slips, underglazes and glazes. You may use as much studio clay to practice as you like and you will only pay for pieces you want to keep and that go on to be fired in the kiln. This is currently charged at £1.10 per 100g of the final weight after glaze firing.

Sessions are self-led so we advise taking a class if you are a complete beginner to help you gain confidence and get the most out of your sessions. Although these sessions are untaught, they will always be supervised by an experienced potter who will be on hand to answer any questions and offer support.

We have 3 professional freestanding wheels, 1 tabletop wheel and space for 4 people to be hand-building or glazing. When you book you can choose whether to reserve a wheel or table.
